Chin Ai’s Internship Experience

With great pleasure, the internship opportunity I had with CapitalBay was a great experience to me.

A safe yet challenging environment

The jobs are never repetitive, there are challenges and problems always arise and I have to find ways to solve it. Looking back to my internship experience at CapitalBay, it really has strengthened my skills. For me, even I am not a marketing student, I don’t have any IT knowledge, but I was given a chance to do some marketing and IT related tasks. I also get the chance to learn some soft skills such as WordPress, Adobe Illustrator and HTML which I never expect to learn throughout the internship. I am really blessed to have really good colleagues who are so willing to guild me throughout my internship there. I was given a lot of opportunities in exploring in as much things as possible. My colleagues always trust me to be the best that I can be and give me the opportunity to expand myself. I really do appreciate all the moments I have at CapitalBay.

CapitalBay’s Culture 

I believe I will not able to gain that much experience in another organization. CapitalBay gives me the chance to control and manage my initiative, to see my ideas take flight. This is very different from other companies as the independence, autonomy and trust is fully given to each member. I think this is the reason why everyone in CapitalBay is full of passion. We are always prepared to help and support other team members. We have also gone out for team lunches and movie nights after working hours. The team spirits are very strong. Working can be tiring and stressful but having a little gathering like this help pump us up, keep us moving and also did plant a smile on everyone’s face. In CapitalBay, we are a big family.
