CapBay’s Referral Programme is a partnership between an individual or an entity with CapBay. We will reward you with an attractive incentive when you refer a potential client that you think would benefit most from our solution. Be it on a one-time-basis or for long-term. We have a suitable programme just for you.
Make a difference by joining forces with us to help address the financing gaps found in Malaysian SMEs. Together, we can promote the growth of a stronger Malaysian SME community. This can also be an alternative to unlock additional income.
Our referrers are our partners. You can be an accountant, company secretary, trade association, procurement platform, legal advisor, angel investor, insurance broker, or financial advisor. In short, we want someone with an extensive working relations or business network with SMEs. The companies you introduce can often be your existing clients, business partners or anyone in your network.

The Standard Referral Programme The Introducer Programme
If you are referring a potential client to us on a one-time basis, then the Standard Referral Programme is for you. Just fill up this form and we will take care of the rest. Both Programmes are part of our strategy to reward individuals or entities for referring potential clients to us. The terms and reward system for each Programme differs.
 
The Standard Referral Programme The Introducer Programme
Suitable for those who refer potential clients to us on a one-time basis. Anyone can participate in our Standard Referral Programme. We will reward you with RM 300 cash for every successful referral that transacts and becomes a successful paying customer on CapBay’s platform. Suitable for those who refer potential clients to us on a recurring and long-term basis, leveraging on their work relations and business network. An introducer is akin to a business partner who works very closely with us, and entails slightly more effort than a referrer. Introducers will be rewarded in the form of a profit-sharing scheme.
 
The Standard Referral Programme The Introducer Programme
Fill up this form with your name and details along with the name and details of the person or business you would like to refer to us. We will take care of the rest. First, get in touch to be an Introducer by filling up this form with your name and details, and pick “Introducer – SME” under Partnership Type. Subsequently, ongoing sharing of potential clients will be done via e-mail / WhatsApp.
Unfortunately, you cannot introduce your own company/employer under the Introducer Programme for reasons of conflict of interest. You can only introduce your company/employer’s clients, network or business partner our Programme.
Unfortunately, our policies do not allow the same individual or entity to take part in both of our Referral Programmes at the same time. You must be a Standard Referrer or an Introducer but not both at the same time.

Absolutely! Buyer-led financing to pay their sellers is a reverse-factoring method also called supply chain financing.

We finance the entire supply chain for buyers with projects in development by helping the sellers get paid earlier. For the buyer, this will smoothen the cash flow and consequently, the workflow movement of its supply chain. For the sellers, this will improve cash flow and give better visibility into accounts receivable, allowing the sellers to focus on profit generation business and not administrative headaches.

For Standard Referrers, there would be no registration process to complete prior to introducing a business. Simply drop a name via our form here. For Introducers, you will have to register and sign an Introducer Agreement with CapBay first before introducing a business.
Standard Referrer will be rewarded in the form of cash reward and will be credited to the account registered with CapBay. We will reward you with RM 300 for every NEW referred business that transacts and becomes a successful paying customer on CapBay’s platform.
Introducers will be rewarded in the form of a profit-sharing scheme. Typically, a commission of up to 20% of our platform fees is successfully charged to the referred customers. Here is a scenario for you to emulate:

In order to be paid, you would need to provide us with your bank details.

We disburse payments to our Standard Referrers on a monthly basis. You will receive your cash reward in the first week of the next calendar month after the completion of the 1st Transaction between CapBay and the Referred Customer (i.e. after the Referred Customer made full payment of any outstanding facility owed to CapBay for its 1st financing transaction).

We remit profit-sharing to our Introducers on a monthly basis. Typically, profit-sharing will be calculated and remitted by the 2nd week of every month.

Once the status of the referred customer is reflected and transacted as a successful deal on CapBay platform, our Funding Specialist will be contacting you for further information such as your bank account.
There are a few plausible explanations:

  • The referred business did not become a successful paying customer on CapBay’s platform within 90 days of the referral;
  • The referred business is an existing customer of CapBay;
  • Someone else had referred the same business to CapBay;
  • The referred business has yet to make full payment of its outstanding facility owed to CapBay for its first financing transaction; or
  • You have not provided us with your bank account details for us to make your payment.
We will look to increase their limit in line with their funding requirements. Initially, we will need to build up a track record before we can begin reviewing the limit, but as trades begin to settle and we see that the debtors are paying on time, we can look to increase that limit.
